Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026
This is a plain-language summary written for an early-stage product, not a substitute for legal advice. It covers what we collect through this site and the Pioneer Program application form today. A fuller Terms of Service will follow as AviaPulse adds paid self-serve signup and Stripe billing.

Who this covers

This policy applies to aviapulse.co and the AviaPulse application at aviapulse.vercel.app. AviaPulse is operated by Jason Verkennes, based in Murfreesboro, TN. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to jason@aviapulse.co.

What we collect

When you submit the form on this site (Pioneer Program application, demo request, or general info request), we collect:

If you become a customer and use the AviaPulse application itself, we additionally store the account, aircraft, maintenance, and compliance data you enter in order to provide the service — that's the core purpose of the product. We do not sell this data.

How we use it

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers that run the service itself (currently Google Firebase/Cloud for hosting and data storage) and the AI service provider described below.

Logbook pages and Airworthiness Directive (AD) text that you upload are processed by an AI service provider, Anthropic, so that they can be read (for example, to extract text and match directives to your aircraft). This is used only to provide the service to you, and your data is not sold.

Data storage & security

Data is stored in Google Cloud's Firestore database and encrypted in transit and at rest through Google Cloud's infrastructure. Each customer's account data is isolated from every other customer's at the database level. AviaPulse has not yet pursued formal security certifications (such as SOC 2) — that's planned as the company grows, but the underlying access controls are built to keep customer data separated today.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your lead/application information at any time by emailing jason@aviapulse.co. If you're a customer, you can ask us to export or delete your account data the same way.

Pioneer Program terms (summary)

Pioneer Program participants receive their first aircraft free for 12 months, including the AD/SB Monitor add-on, while actively using the product, and 20% off any additional aircraft or modules for the same 12 months. In return, participants agree to give honest feedback to help us improve AviaPulse, make a few introductions to other potential customers, and allow AviaPulse to name them as a reference. A review of their experience is optional; anyone who chooses to write one is asked to say honestly that their first aircraft was free. Using a participant's story or review (including, where applicable, what platform or process they switched from) in marketing materials requires separate permission, which is requested explicitly and apart from everything above, and participants may decline it while still completing the rest of the program. The Pioneer Program has a limited number of spots and is accepted at AviaPulse's discretion.

Not a substitute for your mechanic or IA

AviaPulse is a compliance-tracking aid. It helps you stay organized and alerts you to what's coming due, but it does not replace the judgment, inspection, or sign-off of a licensed A&P mechanic or IA. Always verify compliance status against your own maintenance records before making airworthiness decisions.

Changes to this policy

As AviaPulse adds features — self-serve signup, billing, new integrations — this policy will be updated, and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
